Congratulations to KMS Partner Addy Schmitt on Her New Leadership Role with NACDL

Kropf Moseley Schmitt PLLC is proud to congratulate Partner Addy R. Schmitt on being sworn in as Second Vice-President of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) at the Association’s Annual Meeting on August 8.

Addy’s new role builds on years of leadership and service to NACDL and the criminal defense bar. She has previously served as NACDL’s Parliamentarian and Secretary.

Throughout her involvement with NACDL, Addy has taken on leadership roles across a wide range of the organization’s committees, task forces, and initiatives. She previously chaired the Audit Committee and Task Force on Discovery Reform; co-chaired the Strategic Litigation Committee and White Collar Crime Committee; and served on task forces addressing prosecutorial accountability, policing and overcriminalization of pregnancy, and Rule 17c, among others. Her contributions have also extended to CLE programs, advocacy initiatives, amicus briefs, and publications, all in support of NACDL’s vision for a society where all individuals receive fair, rational, and humane treatment within the criminal legal system.
