    Rebecca represents individuals and corporations in all stages of litigation, arbitration, and government investigations. She has litigated on behalf of clients in many industries including professional sports, software, insurance, and financial services, and on a wide range of issues, including fraud, breach of contract, copyright infringement, trade secrets, and product liability. Rebecca relishes working with clients, building trust, and helping them reach satisfactory resolutions of issues that are important to them.

    Rebecca began her practice in the non-profit sector and then transitioned to private practice including at a large international law firm. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of class action and complex civil litigation matters in state and federal court, including at jury trial. Rebecca has also assisted with internal investigations of foreign financial institutions and has worked with whistleblowers to develop and file cases under numerous federal statutes.

    Rebecca maintains an active pro bono practice. On behalf of a client serving four life sentences, she successfully drafted a First Step Act motion that resulted in the reduction of the sentence to time served.

    Rebecca was born and raised in Washington DC. After spending nine years living in New York City, Rebecca moved back to DC shortly after graduating from law school. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and wildlife photography.

    • Won a First Step Act motion on behalf of a client who was serving four life sentences stemming from crimes committed more than 30 years ago
    • Represented start-up company in trade secrets and copyright infringement dispute against major franchise
    • Represented large pharmaceutical client in multi-district litigation as well as in class-action lawsuits across the country
    • Represented a litigation trust in multiple lawsuits, including at a 4-week federal jury trial, seeking indemnity damages from correspondent lenders arising from the defendant lenders’ sale of defective mortgage loans
    • Worked on internal investigation of large foreign financial institution
    • Represented law firm partner engaged in dispute with former law firm
    • Represented various Minor League Baseball teams suing their insurance providers for the denial of the Teams’ claims for insurance coverage arising from the COVID-19 pandemic
    • Represented company in fraudulent conveyance claim related to ground lease
    • Represented CEO of company in federal contacting fraud matter into allegedly improper set-aside contracts
    • Represent employee in federal criminal environmental investigation involving Toxic Substances Control Act
    • Represented OIG employee in investigation by Council of Inspectors General for Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE)
    • Developed wildlife trafficking cases on behalf of whistleblowers under numerous reward statutes
